Lonely, not Alone

Spreading goodness did she travel
sprinkling joy she wandered
caressing the depressed she walked
lending an understanding ear she sat
giving a warm hug she stopped
smiling big she waved and waved back
carrying abundant love she took steps
and abiding by some principles, she changed tracks.

An army of friends did she exclaim
amazing people she said
distinct groups she talked over
handful of pals she whispered
none to fall back on she muted.

With a mended heath did she pump
moist eyes she glanced
woven smile she wore
fictitious laughter she coughed
unaware she acted.

Chasing realism did she wake everyday
in seek of some love she hustled
give up on overthinking she failed everytime embracing stillness she decided on
broken soul she surrendered,
She is not I, she fumbled and slept.
